Washoe County Senior Services offers information and resources regarding activities, classes, and events open to the senior community. Also provides daily lunches at congregate meal sites through Washoe County Nutrition Services.
Provides light housekeeping and chore assistance to individuals, age 60 and older, who are unable to perform the service due to identified functional deficiencies and because they are in need of a support system to provide essential homemaker services.
Appoints a representative to manage the funds for seniors who are no longer able to manage their own funds.
Access to anywhere within the RTC bus routes, however some areas cannot be accessed. Certain cabs also accept taxi bucks, the individual receives coupons to use with any taxi service that may accept this form of payment.
