CARE Chest connects clients with resources like home and vehicle modifications and assistive technology in partnership with agencies including the Northern Nevada Center for Independent Living. CARE Chest also administers a low-interest loan program to fund similar projects
Medical equipment and supplies available. Durable medical equipment is loaned for as long as it is needed, and one-time use supplies can be re-ordered monthly.
In partnership with regional pharmacies, CARE Chest clients can receive up to $100 annually as a supplement for the cost of emergency prescriptions or co-pays. Assistance is applied at the point of purchase.
Provides an environment for elders with disabilities or those recovering from health issues to be cared for, have a meal, and interact with one another, as well as with children, through various activities.

This center works to give those with disabilities the opportunity to find a job or help them accommodate to their needs to their current job.
Provides independent living skills training, peer counseling, assistance transitioning from nursing homes and other institutions to community-based residences, and assisting individuals to avoid institutional placement.
